Coronavirus Update
Thank you for your continued support in dealing with the ongoing coronavirus situation. Any updates we receive from the DfE, Public Health England and the Local Authority will be communicated to you. At the moment we are following the Government guidelines which state that if anyone in your household has one of the following two symptoms: a new, continuous cough and/or a temperature, then the whole household should stay at home for fourteen days. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you are staying at home unless your symptoms worsen during home isolation or are no better after 14 days. At this point you should contact NHS online or call NHS 111. Please refer to the Public Health England’s website for the most up to date information.https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

Promoting Healthy Lifestyles

As part of our continuing efforts to listen to all stakeholder feedback we have undertaken an audit of the ways in which we, as a school, promote healthy lifestyles for our children.  This is in light of feedback from parents evening questionnaires raising concerns that not enough was being done.  In addition to the numerous lessons in PSHE attached is a document which summaries some of the work being done in other departments.

In addition, in our parental forum in July to discuss the concerns parents had about our promotion of healthy lifestyles, caffeinated drinks being sold in the canteen was raised as an issue.  We are pleased to say, that having listened to these concerns, only decaffeinated tea and coffee are being sold.
